Necronomicon
I’m constructing a scratch built of the fabled Necronomicon Ex Mortis, roughly translated as “The Book of the Dead”. My method for the book’s skin was to create a clay relief that I made a plaster mold from. Then I began coating the mold in a liquid latex rubber. Once that step finished, I peeled it off and have my book cover! I stitched the skin to my book and painted it up! Here are images:
