While taking a Props Design course at St. Edwards, we were required to find instructions for any type of prop and build it. My first lightsaber (top of image) contained only two LEDs as detail. Everyone that saw it asked “what about the blade?” So after much scheming, I produced a Lightsaber with total of eight LEDs, two as side detail and six for the blade. Here are the three different styles I’ve made. More photos here!

This is a new experience for me. I’m a Props Master and Carpenter in Austin, Texas. When I’m not working on a production, I take on side projects to stay busy. They range from art pieces to replica props.
